API & Main site SSL certificate warnings

There was a topic mentioning this back in April, but it seems like nothing has changed, so I thought I’d bring it up again.

Twitch is using SSL certs issued by Syantec for at least the “api” and “www” (main site) subdomains. This triggers a warning for Chrome users:

:1 The certificate used to load https://www.twitch.tv/ uses an SSL certificate that will be distrusted in an upcoming release of Chrome. Once distrusted, users will be prevented from loading this resource. See Google Online Security Blog: Distrust of the Symantec PKI: Immediate action needed by site operators for more information.

Does anyone know if Twitch devs are aware of this or, even better, have some sort of roadmap/plan to transition away from this cert provider?
