Hiding Controls on Player Embed

Hi,

I use the WordPress plugin ARVE to embed clips from twitch, and it works well. However on mobile it is sort of annoying to have the twitch controls pop up every time the page loads, which greatly limits the view of the clip on a smaller screen. Either the user waits 3-4 seconds for the controls to disappear or they tap the full screen icon to watch it without any obstructions. The ARVE plugin will load the clip in as an iframe.

Is it possible to stop the controls from popping up upon the embed being loaded, unless the clip is interactive with by the user?

I’ve tried using the hide controls option and it doesn’t seem to change anything.
