Quarterly Insights for Game Developers

As a follow up to Game Developer Analytics(https://blog.twitch.tv/introducing-analytics-for-game-developers-1b3df5c5052e), today we’re announcing Game Developer Quarterly Insights to provide developers vital game metrics and re-engagement opportunities. In addition to how many people are streaming and watching a game, now developers can also access the key metrics about their viewers and broadcasters, trending data for their games, viewing and streaming preferences about their community on Twitch and also growth by geo.

Quarterly Insights will also remind you of important re-engagement opportunities like drops campaigns, extensions available for your game, and opportunities to run influencer campaigns on Bounty Board. If your game has over 300 minutes broadcast in the past quarter, you will be able to see a customized report for your game. If your game does not meet this threshold, you’ll see an overview report with overall trending data on Twitch and opportunities for developers to grow their game.

To Get Started:

  1. Login to dev.twitch.tv

  2. Navigate to your Games dashboard (Dashboard > Games)

  3. Click on the ‘View Quarterly Insights’ button below each of your game’s Box Art to see the Quarterly Twitch Insights for your game.

  4. Click the dropdown to navigate among Quarterly Twitch Insights as they are available.
