You say theres a chat node at: chat.freenode.net:6667/#twitch-api <-- This does not work
However if I go to http://webchat.freenode.net/ and then join the channel #twitch-api it works!
Consider updating this for people trying to look at the documentation?
That is still correct. chat.freenode.net is the recommended endpoint to connect to Freenode’s IRC network with an IRC client. webchat.freenode.net is just a webclient for such chat.
It’s also worth noting that at the #twitch-api is already linked to the web chat page you specified. There’s no need to update the documentation.
