API v5 - Language parameter causing frequent status 500 errors

Whenever I’m adding the language parameter to my queries (Clips API in this case) - I quite often experience status 500 errors. Not every single time, but maybe about every 10th query.

Query example:
api.twitch.tv/kraken/clips/top?limit=100&trending=false&period=day&language=it

Console:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 ()

I never experience it when I exclude the language parameter.

Is this an ongoing issue, or something I’m doing wrong on my end?

Clips is one of the few that includes filtering by language. Are you seeing this on the Clips endpoint with language included, or are you talking about other endpoints? If it is Clips, I’ll follow up with that team as that was newly released functionality with v5.

I’m only seeing it on the Clips endpoint with language included. Thank you.

Any progress on this?
It might just be random, but I’ve noticed that it happens more frequently on language codes “da” and “it”.

Just checked the bug I filed. The team is looking into it. I’ll keep you posted!

Clips is shipping the fix to this today. Let me know if this is still a frequent problem!

Sorry, this is still a problem:
