Beginner Needing Help

So I came up with a Google Chrome extension idea that I would like to use for personal use. I’ve had brief experience in HTML, PHP and JavaScript.

I’m just curious to know how to go about learning and using the API. I’ve been looking all over for help when it comes to getting started with API’s and I can’t find anything.

If anyone has any information that would be of use to me, please let me know.

For now i’ll just keep trying to get something rolling.

If you know how to make HTTP calls & parse JSON, you should be good to go. All of our endpoints are documented at https://github.com/justintv/Twitch-API

Well, the only experience i’ve had is just creating simple webpage to display information and basic login fields.
