Also, there is nothing stopping a broadcaster accepting donations in Bitcoin, or any cryptocurrency, they just need to use a service that supports it.
Why Twitch cant support it?
How exactly do you want Twitch to support it? Tipping a broadcaster through Twitch is done by a user cheering Bits, which can be purchased in USD. If a person has Bitcoins they can exchange them for USD and purchase Bits to cheer. If the user wants to actually tip the broadcaster in Bitcoin (or any cryptocurrency) then all the broadcaster has to do is let users transfer bitcoin to them directly.
Cheering is not tipping. You’re paying for the use of an animated emote.
