Bits PubSub display_name

I noticed the PubSub topics for subscriptions and whispers offer the display_name property but it is not accessible with bits.
Is there a limitation which prevent this? The user_id is available so of course the display_name can be retrieved, but passing it along with the rest of the data would be benifical. To me at least. :smiley:
