When using the mod icon to execute a timeout in twitch chat, the pubsub message type moderator_action is always ‘ban’ in the payload, and is indistinguishable from the ban command message payload.
This doesnt seem to be the intended payload and could be an oversight in the new api?
Has only happened since the transfer to the new api.
I tested this.
I can see the same.
Pressing timeout on chat icons resulted in a
x has been timed out for 600 seconds.
But I received a
“moderation_action”:“ban”
Instead
The chat command timeout worked correctly
Have you received any updates on the issue or have you found a suitable workaround?
I have the same issue as well and the field seems to be missing how long the temp-ban is supposed to be.
