Channel was hacked but still have access to it

I just noticed about five minutes ago that my twitch channel was hacked. The profile picture was changed and my bio was changed to “Get hacked.” I tried logging in and got in with the same password from before and I still have access to the account and recently changed my password. I don’t know why and who would not only hack my account but leave the same password intact. Help would be appreciated so I don’t have another heart attack!

Change your password. Use a unique password, don’t use the same one you use elsewhere. Use 2 factor authentication.
