I dont know how to implement the following idea:
A user sends a whisper to my user, which is a bot, and this bot can handle this message. so read name from user, the message, etc. I want to make a giveaway bot where users have to send a specific word to a user.
Is there a API for that ? I only know the API to get stream informations.

Note as well that Whispers are incredibly unreliable and thus are frowned upon when used programmatically.
You may want to look into creating an external website with Twitch Login or an Extension.

But for a bot to receive from a human there should be no issues. So you’ll have some fun repling it you are going to reply.
