Consuming Stream Directly From Source

Hello,

I am wondering if it is permitted to directly consume a twitch stream?

I noticed that an app that I use is doing that (Live on 1v1Me | @) - they are using a blob URL to just directly show the twitch stream without using the twitch iframe, though I am not sure that this is allowed as I cannot find anything similar in the API.

Is this allowed, or do they have a special relationship with Twitch?

It is not. the only valid/supported embeds of a stream are documented here:

It is not allowed, I do not know if they have a special relationship with Twitch.
Would seem unlikely since this site seems to involve “betting” real money on streams essentailly it seems.
