"delay" attribute in streams request [NEW API]

Hey guys,

does someone know if it is planned to add the “delay” attribute in the response of the https://api.twitch.tv/helix/streams request? Or is there another way to get the delay of a stream?

It is part of the https://api.twitch.tv/kraken/streams/<channel ID> request in the Twitch v5 API. Would be really nice to have it also in the new api.

Greetings

jip

What’s your use case?

Hey george,

i am developing a plugin for obs which is communicating with a server backend. The plugin displays data that can be manipulated via a webpage. After a action is triggered on the webpage, i wanna give a response
at what time a viewer can see the changes on the livestream.

Via the plugin i get the delay which is specified in the obs settings, but to be as exact as possible i want to make sure to catch the twitch delay too.

Do you know if there is a way to get the delay?
