tl;dr requesting longr9k which only filters 16+ characters
I watch esports, and having r9k mode on is good for moderators to clear up copypasta spam, but it’s overzealous and filters out what I would call latent hype.
e.g. things like “[player name] is sick”, “let’s go”, “time him out” etc. etc. that are common things for someone to type but aren’t spam and still contribute, are killed off by r9k, especially comments that aren’t even on screen anymore for a slower moving chat.
There should be a version of r9k that only filters out longer strings, 16+ characters, to kill copypasta but allow simple feedback.
