Accessing last game played on offline channel

Good day! I am trying to achieve a way to fetch stream informations, and as long as it’s still live, it’s fine. But if the stream is offline, the data is empty (which is logical). Is there any endpoint I did not noticed, that allows to ask “what was the previous stream” ? or "What is the currently selected game for this user’s channel, even though he is offline ? Get Last Broadcasted Game (Helix)

Hey guys! I’m working on Migrating my bot from ApiV5 to the new Helix API. What I’m trying to do is get a streamers last broadcasted game. In the past I could just get the channel object and it would have their last broadcasted game or current, depending if they were live or not at the time of request. The main reason for this functionality is for my bot to be able to shoutout another streamers stream if they hop into another streamers channel, upon the streamers request. So far I see a stream…

Helix - Data from offline streams?

In the past, we were able to fetch informations about the last stream (game name / id, stream title, etc.), even if the given user is currently not streaming. This information seems to be gone. Are there plans to re-implement this information? Or do we have to build our own caches for that?

Currently either check v5 instead, do some magic with the last/most recent VOD for the user/channel or stay tuned to the Roadmap for updates:

Helix should have feature parity with v5 before everything flips over!
