Get Stream: Distinguishing between hosted and live channels?

Hi,

I don’t seem to be able to distinguish between live and hosted streams with Get Stream API call.

Documentations mentions “type” which can be “live” or “” if there is an error. Hosted streams are showing “live” which is not helping. Anyone know how I can do this?

Channels that are hosting someone don’t show as live in the API…

If someone is live and in host mode, viewers will see the host not the live stream and will show as live in the API. As a “host” is not a stream of any kind for the channel doing the hosting.

Whom are you looking up that appears to be live and hosting someone else?
