How do you dev on twitch properly?

Hello guys,

Is there a sandbox mode to experiment things ? Or do we have to go with a real broadcast ?

There is no sandbox environment for Twitch’s API.

The closest thing I use to a sandbox is my own profile/channel. If you are messing with the chat you can type there yourself or use dummy/friends accounts. As for the API it generally consists of GET commands so there is generally no harm in “experimenting” there, I believe.
