Ignored users not working on IRC?

Hi,

If I am connecting to the Twitch IRC server, the messages from people I have ignored on Twitch are still showing?

The ignore feature is part of the client side web application so message received directly over IRC are not filtered.

The web chat does the ignoring; it’s not part of the IRC.
