Lagging in game while watching streams

Idk why but when i play games and im listening to streams in the background i have horrible lag…

Computer specs:
Processor:AMD FX™-4300 Quad-Core 3.80 GHz
Video Card: Nvidia Gtx 550ti
Ram:8gb

Idk why im lagging so bad please help.
