I’d like to see a topic added for Pubsub for when channels go online/offline. Right now the only options are to poll an endpoint or to use webhooks. From my understanding, the latter would involve setting up a server (not practical for all applications) so that I would have a callback.
To me, websockets seem ideal for this sort of thing. I’m open to discussion though. Does anyone see good reasons for why this topic shouldn’t be part of the Pubsub API (e.g. redundancy)?
