While doing research I found out that sometimes :twitchnotify!twitchnotify@twitchnotify.tmi.twitch.tv PRIVMSG #channel :User just subscribed with Twitch Prime! will show as witchnotify. Don’t know if a bug or joke but its pretty bad either way
Sounds like your parser is broken.
I’ve dropped ZERO sub notifications. So it’s not happened for me.
Edit: This could be because you are parsing for a “foreign display name” and the name is long enough to cause the message to be LONGER than the IRC specification states a PRIVMSG can be. As Twitch only follows the RFC for IRC and violates it in a lot of cases.
