Hey, so I’m making a little twitch chat viewer, and I’ve sent both the CAP REQ commands but I’m not getting any USERSTATE messages, stuff like joins, parts and modes are working okay however, any ideas? I’m not a super expert on IRC so is there anything else I have to do to make sure it should be working?
@smt I see you said you are sending both CAP REQ commands, there are three that I know of, are you sending all three?
CAP REQ :twitch.tv/membership
CAP REQ :twitch.tv/commands
CAP REQ :twitch.tv/tags

As a sidenote, you can request all in one: CAP REQ :twitch.tv/tags twitch.tv/commands twitch.tv/membership
