Not include "Twitch" in the domain name?

How can this website https://www.twitchmetrics.net/ contains “twitch” in there domain name and using your API?

This website are using 100% twitch api to get all the data from the website.

from legal page

“User Names and Domain Names We do not allow use of Twitch Brand Assets, in whole or in part, as a domain name or user name. This prohibition extends to the name of a business, product, or service.”

Legal issues probably want to be filed on legal@twitch.tv rather than the Third Party Developers forum.

Thanks for fast reply barry. ok, But i just want to know if we can use twitch in there domain name too. :slightly_smiling_face:

Looks like it works!

if i dont use twitch in our domain, Can i mentor twitch in our website, Like i get all the data from website twitch and twitch own all data on our website? Is it legal?

Mentioning you use Twitch or the Twitch API is perfectly fine.

Twitch as a “sub domain” is OK, but your “main product name” and thus URL is not.

So twitchmetrics, not good but https://twitch.extensions.barrycarlyon.co.uk/ is fine. Since it’s “Twitch Extensions by Barry”
