Private_video and privacy_options_enabled fields appearing and disappearing?

I use v5 API /channels endpoint and recently I get sent these undocumented fields as well: private_video and privacy_options_enabled. As far as I can tell they were first added April 12. The thing is, they aren’t consistently there. Sometimes when I query the endpoint they’re included, but sometimes they aren’t. I’m just kind of puzzled by this whole situation, but my questions boil down to:

  1. I thought v5 was a deprecated API, why am I seeing fields I have not seen before? Relatedly, I haven’t seen these fields in the helix/users endpoint
  2. These fields aren’t consistently available or unavailable, what’s the cause of this? Something on my end or Twitch’s?
