Rechat huge gap in messages

Hi there and thank you in advance for the attention.

I’ve been fiddling with rechat api for a while, but recently I’ve been noticing it has huge gaps in messages.

For example, take this clip into account: https://clips.twitch.tv/SeductiveCorrectSalamanderKappaRoss

And now the correct rechat request: https://rechat.twitch.tv/rechat-messages?start=1505186394&video_id=v174141071

At the start, all messages seem to appear, but in the last ~8 seconds they all seem to vanish or to not be in the record.

Anyone knows what is happening?

Rechat isn’t an API supported for third party use, so I can’t comment on that functionality. If you have feedback about the rechat functionality on the site, I’d recommend filing feedback at twitch.uservoice.com.
