Removing items from embedded stream window (Streaming info , follow button etc)

I have found that there is an option to remove all the controls and information from the embedded window by using “controls: false” in the options, which would work fine, but I can not seem to use the javascript to then un-mute the stream.

Is there a way to either only hide the stream info and not the play pause, mute and volume, or alternatively replicate the play pause, volume and mute controls underneath the player?
