Show last x chat messages when chat was loaded

Hello everyone,

I’m looking for a way to always show the last chat messages when the chat was loaded, like the betterTTV Plugin. Is there any easy way to do this? Maybe there is a build in solution?

There is an undocumented endpoint that gets recent chat messages https://tmi.twitch.tv/api/rooms/CHANNEL_ID/recent_messages but as with all undocumented endpoints expect this to change/break at any time.
