Since the new chat feature (chat replay for vods) watching vods like nl_kripp has been causing pretty significant lag after about 2 hours where the video glitches out, chrome freezes up, etc.
Refreshing the page cures the symptoms, and I’m almost 100% sure it’s from adding a large amount of items to the DOM. Can we have someone confirm items are getting pulled out as they age so chrome doesn’t die while watching the vod?

You have to let the vod run for 2+ hours.
