Everything works fine when my assets are locally hosted but it’s being blocked in hosted test mode. Any ideas ?
You cannot link to or use off site scripts in an extension.
The only exception is pretty much google fonts.

Damn, do you know if they make exceptions by request? Been building out this extension for the past month and the main functionality depends on being able to use Spotify’s web player SDK 
Nope no exceptions. To my knowledge at least.
At this point you might want to go read ALL the guidelines and policies in case you spend another month on another extension and find yourself in violation of the G&P again
