I’m sure that I am missing understanding a fundamental concept here but I am unable to access the Response headers to manage rate limiting using the new API from javascript. Here’s my code:

'Content-Type': 'application/json',

}
function getStream() {
$.ajax({
url: "https://api.twitch.tv/helix/users?login=" + channel,
headers: twitchHelixHeaders,

Helix needs to use Access-Control-Expose-Headers to allow clients to read this information. Without it, browser-based apps can use Helix but cannot react to rate limit feedback that Twitch provides.
