Testing Partner-oriented App

I’m looking into developing an app utilizing the Twitch API to help Twitch Partners gain better insight into what is and isn’t working with their channel in regards to subs, follows, viewers, etc.

I see that the Twitch API allows for authenticated calls on partner info in their API but I’m wondering how to test my app considering I’m not a partner. Is there a general account open for this kind of testing? Does Twitch offer partnership for devs to test this kind of stuff? What are my options?

Unfortunately not. The API documentation should be accurate in terms of expected responses from the various calls. Beyond that you’ll have to look for a partnered user to alpha test for you.
