As mentioned in this help article, chat servers will no longer be available in the Twitch Desktop App starting in February 2019.
This will affect the current Twitch developer chat server in the desktop app, so we are moving homes! Working with @TheCricket , our community chat leader, and other developer contributors such as @AlphaDuplo, a Discord server has been set up as a replacement.
Since we launched the developer chat server, almost 1,400 developers have joined to collaborate with other developers and provide invaluable feedback to staff. We look forward to growing the community even further on Discord, and we believe this is a great place to bridge the communication gap between developer and creator.
