Is it possible to not release an Extension, but use it with the public?

Currently I’m developing an Extension and I can test it with my account when viewing my channel. However, the Extension is not visible to anyone else.

I presume it’s because it has not yet been released.

I see there’s a way to restrict who can use an Extension (per Private Extensions), but is it possible for me to not release an Extension, use it only on my channel and have the public see it?

There is a broadcaster whitelist section, just whitelist your own channel before you release it.

No it has to be released for the public to see it.

Otherwise only people present on the testers whitelist can see it, and you can’t add everyone to the Testing whitelist
